Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic 2-year-old teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for 2-year-olds. Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive interactions among children. Supervise children closely to ensure safety at all times, adhering to best practices in child supervision and classroom management. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and milestones through updates and meetings. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and daily activities in compliance with licensing requirements. Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times. Support children with diapering, potty training, feeding, and other daily routines with patience and care. Incorporate early childhood education principles focused on childhood development and infant/toddler care into daily lessons. Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior and emotional regulation among toddlers. Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards including pediatric first aid and CPR certification. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction tailored for toddlers is essential. Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), including pediatric first aid is required or obtainable upon hire. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to nurture each child's individual needs. Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety is necessary. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a lively, positive attitude.
