Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

Active Special Education Certification (SPED Cert, K-6) Previous classroom experience with students in 3rd through 6th grade is highly valued Ability to build rapport and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Proven track record working collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation Flexible, positive approach with excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide resource support for a caseload of 10-12 students, working closely with students, families, and staff to meet academic and behavioral goals Develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs, tracking student progress and modifying instruction as needed Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to address diverse learning styles and abilities Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that encourages growth and independence Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure continuity of support and student success Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives as required If you are passionate about nurturing students' academic and social-emotional growth in a collaborative, K-6 educational setting, this role awaits your expertise. to contribute your skills and inspire young learners where your impact will be felt daily!
