Schedule:

37.5 hours per week Caseload Self-contained classroom Approximately 12 students 2 paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom Majority of students have developmental delays Some students may exhibit behavioral challenges, including aggression during de-escalation situations Students with a wide range of disabilities Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEPs Develop and implement individualized education plans Collaborate with paraprofessionals, families, and school staff Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially Maintain required documentation and progress monitoring Requirements Active Alabama Special Education Teaching License Appropriate endorsement for the age group served (PreK-5 or K-12) Fingerprinting required if Alabama prints are more than 5 years old Why Join This District?
