Qualifications and Experience:

Certified Special Education Teacher, with preference for candidates holding mild-moderate or learning disability certification Experience developing and implementing IEPs for middle school students Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and differentiated instruction Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide tailored instruction to students in a resource classroom, supporting academic and social-emotional growth Adapt and modify curriculum materials to meet individual learning needs Work collaboratively with general education teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusion and accommodations Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and complete required reporting Frequently communicate with families and participate in IEP meetings Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment from 7am to 3pm each day By stepping into this role, youll play a key part in helping students build confidence, independence, and academic skills.
