August 31, 2026 ? 40 Hours Per Week ?? 10-Month Contract ? 1 Opening Available Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join an elementary school team in Casa Grande, AZ. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with emotional disabilities in a self-contained classroom environment focused on academic growth, emotional development, and student success. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating a structured, supportive learning environment while collaborating with families, school leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities + Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals. + Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). + Create and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment. + Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to support student success. + Collaborate with administrators, support staff, general education teachers, and families. + Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational documentation. + Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. + Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and district special education requirements. Qualifications Minimum Requirements + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. + Valid state teaching certification as required by state and district regulations. + Special Education Teaching Certification preferred and may be required by the district. + Minimum of one year of teaching experience preferred. + Current CPR certification, if applicable. + TB questionnaire, PPD , or chest X-ray, if applicable. + Current health certificate, if required. + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age. + Compliance with all professional standards of practice.
