9679937-85225 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract position supporting fifth-grade students in a resource room setting near Chandler, AZ. Youll collaborate with colleagues, develop individualized plans, and make a daily impact in special education as a dedicated SPED teacher. This opportunity is for the academic year starting ASAP and extending through May 28, 2027, with consistent hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (occasional IEP meetings may extend slightly beyond the regular schedule).

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Licensed to teach Special Education in Arizona Valid IVP Fingerprint Card (required for school placements) Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 35 fifth-grade students Experience in a K-12 resource room or similar special education setting is ideal Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff and families Adept at facilitating and attending IEP meetings

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and tailored instruction to students with a range of learning needs Develop, document, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and other support professionals Track student progress and update records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Engage with families and participate in school-based meetings as required Ensure a positive and inclusive environment for all learners
