Job Description
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility) Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required; Master's preferred Previous experience working with students with disabilities in a school environment Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Proficient in adapting curriculum and instructional methods to meet varied learning styles Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff Strong organizational abilities and commitment to student successKey Responsibilities:
Develop, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver tailored instruction individually, in small groups, or within inclusion settings Utilize appropriate resources and support services to create positive learning experiences Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies as necessary Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student achievement Communicate regularly with families to share progress and discuss strategies Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as needed Enjoy the opportunity to grow your expertise in a collaborative and supportive educational setting.
