Skills & Qualifications:

Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Bachelors degree in Special Education or closely related field Experience with high school aged students preferred Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Skilled in collaborating with general educators, related service providers, and families Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction in a dedicated special education setting to students with diverse learning needs Develop, write, and execute IEPs in adherence with district and state standards Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust instruction as appropriate Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service staff, and families to support student success Participate in panel-style Zoom interviews and meet onboarding requirements, including school-specific training and fingerprint clearance
