Job Description

Step into an impactful opportunity as a Special Education Teacher supporting high school students in a vibrant, inclusive educational setting near Mesa, AZ. This full-time contract role places you at the heart of a dynamic learning environment, spanning from July 27th, 2024, through May 21st, 2027. Youll collaborate with dedicated colleagues and diverse student populations within a variety of classroom modelsInclusion/SUCCESS classrooms, practical skills, a CBT life skills program, the STRIVE autism program, and self-contained settings.

Key Requirements:

Valid Arizona secondary teaching license K-12 Special Education (SPED) certificate Current IVP fingerprint clearance card Availability for required CIE training, July 21-24 Prior experience working with emotional disabilities Skilled in behavioral support strategies Strong background in IEP development and implementation Passion for working with a wide range of student abilities and backgrounds On-site presence throughout the assignment

Role Responsibilities:
