• to support elementary students in a resource classroom setting. The Special Education Teacher will provide quality educational services, collaborate with school staff, and help students achieve academic and developmental success throughout the school year.
• Position Highlights:

• + 36-Week School Assignment + Virtual Interview with SPED Director +
• Local Pay: Up to $50.00/Hour

• Key Responsibilities:
• + Develop and implement individualized educational programs (IEPs) + Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs + Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families + Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation + Deliver instructional support in a resource classroom setting
• Minimum Requirements:
• + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred + Valid State Teaching Certificate as required by state and district regulations + Special Education certification preferred + Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement preferred + Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred + Current CPR certification if applicable + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age •Why Amergis?

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.

• Minimum Requirements:
• + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations + Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred + State Teacher Certification;
