Qualifications:
Valid state certification/license to teach Special Education (or eligibility for reciprocity in Arizona) Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field Previous experience teaching at the high school level preferred Solid understanding of IEP development, modification, and implementation Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction and support to high school students in special education settings Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers and support staff Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment conducive to diverse learning needs Maintain accurate records and regularly communicate with families on student progress
