9671132-85646 Job Description Support students growth and learning in a small-group setting as a Special Education Teacher for a local school. This contract position is designed for educators dedicated to personalized instruction and collaboration, working closely with a supportive classroom team.

Key Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Previous experience teaching students with exceptionalities is highly valued. Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation. Effective communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt instruction to individual student needs and changing class sizes. Responsibilities:

Facilitate two instructional sessions each day on

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:

a morning session (7:45 AM11:00 AM) and an afternoon session (11:00 AM3:00 PM). Deliver engaging lessons to small groups (currently 3 students in the morning and 4 in the afternoon), with additional students joining throughout the school year based on evaluations. Collaborate with two dedicated paraprofessionals to ensure each student receives appropriate support. Conduct regular progress monitoring and make data-driven instructional decisions. Participate in IEP meetings, maintain documentation, and communicate with families as needed. Dedicate Wednesdays to planning, preparation, and professional collaboration.
