Key Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching credential for California Experience working with students with disabilities (mild to moderate or moderate/severe) Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Effective communication and collaboration skills with families, staff, and support personnel A passion for nurturing student growth, inclusion, and self-advocacyResponsibilities:
Create and deliver tailored lesson plans aligned with IEP goals and state standards Assess students abilities and progress, adapting strategies to promote academic, social, and behavioral achievement Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and other staff to support student integration and success Maintain thorough documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued This position includes full-time hours and provides access to a range of healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with 401(k) retirement planning.
