What they do
A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description
We're looking for someone who loves working with infants and toddlers, values meaningful relationships with families, and wants the flexibility of building a schedule that works for them. What You'll Do Provide early intervention services for children ages 0-3 in their natural environments Partner with parents and caregivers to support their child's developmental goals Conduct developmental assessments using the HELP Assessment Develop and implement individualized developmental goals Complete required documentation and progress reports Build positive, supportive relationships with children and their families
What We're Looking ForRequired:
