    • Amergis is seeking a dedicated
    • Special Education Teacher
    • to support elementary students in grades 4-6. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a self-contained classroom environment while collaborating with educational teams to help students reach their full potential.
    • Position Details
    • + Elementary School Setting + Grades 4-6 + Self-Contained Classroom + Full School Year Assignment + 35 Hours Per Week + Virtual Interview Process + High Behavioral Support Environment
    • Responsibilities
    • + Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students with diverse learning needs + Implement and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) + Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams + Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation + Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment + Participate in educational planning and student support meetings •Qualifications•+ Valid Special Education Teaching Credential/Certification + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred + Previous teaching experience preferred + Strong communication and collaboration skills + Must meet all applicable state and district requirements •Compensation•?

    • + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations + Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred + State Teacher Certification;
