9682919-94015 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. In this on-site role, you will provide direct support to learners with visual impairments within a school district setting, following an itinerant model. The assignment runs from October 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek.

What were looking for:

Valid California teaching credential with an endorsement in Visual Impairment Experience working with visually impaired students, preferably in school environments Strong communication skills to collaborate with educational teams, students, and families Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet customized student needs Flexibility and organization to serve students throughout different locations on an itinerant basis Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing engaging, individualized education plans for students with visual impairments Delivering direct instruction in core academic areas and teaching adaptive skills Consulting with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum and materials Conducting regular assessments and tracking student progress Providing training and resources to school staff and families as needed Maintaining thorough documentation and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams This contract role is strictly on-site and is an excellent opportunity to build meaningful connections as you impact the lives of visually impaired learners.
