This position will support elementary school students as a Resource Specialist Teacher, providing individualized instruction and academic support to students with special education needs. This role is based at a single school site and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a collaborative educational team. Assignment Details Elementary School Resource Specialist Teacher Grades 1-5 Caseload of up to 28 students
Pay:
$55-$58 per hour
Assignment Dates:
August 2026 - December 2026
Schedule:
Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week Contract assignment through December 2026 Potential opportunity to continue in a middle school Resource Specialist assignment after the initial contract Job Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide specialized academic instruction to students receiving special education services Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals Ensure compliance with state and district special education requirements Required Qualifications Valid California Education Specialist (Special Education) Credential Fingerprint clearance in accordance with California state requirements Current TB clearance as required by California law Previous school-based experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills If you're a California-credentialed Special Education Teacher looking for a rewarding school-based opportunity, we'd love to connect with you.
