Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Experience the rewards of making a real difference in students' lives as a dedicated Special Education Teacher in Siskiyou County, CA. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to work closely with learners who have mild to moderate needs, supporting their growth and success in a collaborative educational setting. You will manage a caseload of 28 or fewer students, providing tailored instruction and fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment. While this position is primarily on-site, there may be potential for a virtual/VOCO arrangement, offering some flexibility based on your needs and qualifications.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching credential Experience working with students who have mild to moderate learning differences Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs Collaborative spirit to support fellow educators and staff

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group instruction based on students' IEPs Monitor and document student progress Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and support staff Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and team planning Cultivate a supportive, positive, and safe learning environment This contract offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and celebrate progress with your students.
