Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching credential Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Proven ability to develop and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Experience working with a diverse range of disabilities and learning differences Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff Commitment to inclusive practices and fostering a supportive classroom environment Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver instructional activities to students in accordance with their IEPs Modify curriculum and teaching methods to accommodate students needs Track and report progress, completing all required documentation accurately and on time Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to coordinate support Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development Maintain an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom for all students Encourage student engagement and self-advocacy in learning Why Consider This Opportunity?
