Arborland Montessori Children's Academy Full-Time | Infant through 8th Grade Do you enjoy variety, love working with children of different ages, and thrive in a collaborative environment? Arborland Montessori Children's Academy is seeking a caring, flexible, and dependable Floater Teacher to support classrooms across our school community. As a Floater Teacher, no two days are exactly alike! You will assist teachers, provide classroom coverage, support special activities, and help ensure a smooth, positive experience for our students. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, is adaptable, and is passionate about making a difference wherever they are needed. Responsibilities Provide classroom support for infant, toddler, preschool, kindergarten, elementary, and junior high classrooms as assigned. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Assist teachers with classroom activities, small group instruction, and supervision. Provide coverage during teacher breaks, meetings, and absences. Help prepare classroom materials and learning activities. Supervise students during recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal, and school events as needed. Foster positive relationships with students and staff. Follow classroom routines and school policies while maintaining consistency for students. Be flexible and willing to adapt to the needs of the school each day. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred (or currently pursuing a degree in Education or a related field). Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or educational setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Positive, dependable, and professional attitude. Ability to quickly build rapport with children of different ages. Flexible, organized, and able to transition between classrooms with ease. Montessori experience is a plus but not required.
