Early Childhood Program Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated ECSC Teacher to provide specialized instruction and support to young children with disabilities. The teacher will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while implementing individualized instruction based on each child's IEP.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals. Provide developmentally appropriate academic, social, communication, and functional instruction. Support students in developing early learning, language, motor, social-emotional, and self-help skills. Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals. Create and maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Use appropriate accommodations, modifications, and specialized teaching strategies. Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, school psychologists, paraprofessionals, and other service providers. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and services. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Maintain accurate student records and required special education documentation. Support positive behavior and use appropriate classroom behavior-management strategies.

Qualifications:

Valid California credential/authorization appropriate for Early Childhood Special Education. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Experience working with preschool-age children with disabilities preferred. Knowledge of IEPs and early childhood special education practices. Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively with young children and their families.

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday Students:

Preschool-aged children receiving special education services.

Pay:

From $80,000.00 per year
