A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Caregiver / Direct Support Professional - Make a Difference Every Day Are you a caring, dependable person who enjoys helping others? California Care 4 U, Inc. is looking for compassionate caregivers to join our team and provide meaningful support to seniors and individuals with disabilities in their homes. As a caregiver, you'll have the opportunity to build a positive relationship with your client while helping them remain comfortable, safe, and as independent as possible. What You'll Do Your responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the client.

Duties may include:

Providing companionship and friendly conversation Assisting with everyday activities and personal needs Helping with light household tasks Providing meal preparation or assistance Assisting with mobility, such as walking or transferring Depending on the client, providing light assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing, or personal hygiene Supporting clients with their individual routines and activities Encouraging independence and maintaining a safe environment Following the client's care plan and company policies Not every client requires hands-on personal care. Assignments are based on each client's individual needs. What We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are: Compassionate and patient Reliable and responsible Comfortable working one-on-one with clients Respectful of clients' privacy, dignity, and independence Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively Willing to learn and work as part of a supportive team Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
