Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid certification or credential in at least one: Educational Diagnostician, Special Education Teacher, Behavior Specialist, or Early Childhood/Pre-K education Demonstrated experience supporting children in Pre-K/Preschool environments Familiarity with developmental milestones, educational assessments, and individualized education plan (IEP) processes Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work alongside diverse educational teams, families, and related service professionals Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Understanding of and sensitivity to the unique needs of young learners with varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify individual student needs and develop appropriate educational plans Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction and behavior interventions for PreK and special education students Collaborate with teachers, aides, and specialists to implement IEPs and effective classroom strategies Monitor progress and maintain detailed, accurate documentation Partner with families, providing support and guidance on developmental, educational, or behavioral concerns Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture Perks of this
