There are two full-time roles available: one supporting K-2 students and another serving K-5th grade. Both positions focus on mild to moderate needs and require an active California mild/moderate credential.

Qualifications:

Valid and active California Special Education credential in mild/moderate School-based experience with students in grades K-2 and/or K-5th preferred Strong ability to adapt instruction and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Outstanding communication and documentation skills Dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Provide engaging instruction and interventions that address diverse learning styles Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary Work collaboratively with general education staff, support providers, and families Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements Foster a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere that enables student success This contract position offers attractive pay between $45 and $55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
