Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Provider to join our team. The Care Provider will assist residents with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support residents with mobility needs, including transfers and use of assistive devices. Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the administrator. Administer medications as directed and maintain accurate documentation. Facilitate social and recreational activities to encourage engagement and interaction. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. Uphold residents' rights and dignity in all interactions.

Qualifications:

Experience working in a residential care facility, group home, or similar setting preferred. Knowledge of caregiving techniques, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with a team. Must be able to pass a background check and meet all state requirements. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
