- Behavior Technician - Oceanside, CA | 2026-2027 School Year

We are seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians for the 2026-2027 school year in Oceanside, CA. This role offers the opportunity to support children and young adults with special needs by implementing individualized behavior intervention strategies, fostering skill development, and promoting positive, inclusive learning experiences. You will work closely with educators, special education staff, and behavioral specialists to help students meet their academic, social, and behavioral goals. - What You Will Do
- + Provide direct behavioral support to students using ABA-based strategies + Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under clinical supervision + Collect and track data to monitor student progress and inform programming + Support classroom routines, transitions, and positive behavior reinforcement + Collaborate with teachers, special education personnel, and behavioral specialists + Help students build communication, social, and functional life skills •What We Are Looking For•We are seeking candidates with a strong background in ABA therapy and a genuine commitment to supporting students with special needs.
Experience in school-based or special education settings is highly preferred.
- Minimum Requirements
- + High school diploma or equivalent required + Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred + Experience with ABA therapy strongly preferred + Experience in a school or special education setting preferred + Current CPR certification (if applicable) + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable) + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age
