A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Starting at $25.00 / hour .Hours:
Part-time ( 16 to 24 hours per week ).Duties & Requirements Daily Care:
Keep clients healthy in mind and body with exercise and right nutrition. Stay completely calm, patient, and safe if a client becomes physically aggressive.Teamwork:
Be kind, honest, and helpful. Work closely with the rest of the staff to create a positive, family-like environment.Experience & Training:
Proven experience caring for individuals with special needs and challenging behaviors is desired. Candidates with a background in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) work, RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training , or general caregiving experience with autistic clients are highly encouraged to apply!Driving:
Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record to safely transport clients for daily activities and outings.Background Check & Drug Screening:
Final candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug test.Flexibility:
