A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. This role will support students within a special education setting , providing individualized instruction and accommodations for students with visual impairments.

Qualifications:
Valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) credential/certification required Experience working with students with visual impairments Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet individual student needs Strong collaboration and communication skills Make a meaningful impact by helping students with visual impairments access their education, build independence, and reach their individual goals.
