Qualifications and Experience:

Valid teaching credential in Special Education (or eligibility in California) Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a K-12 setting Deep understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring Skilled in classroom management and differentiated instruction for mild to moderate disabilities Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families Passion for empowering diverse learners and advocating for their needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to students with mild to moderate disabilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Assess student progress and adapt instruction to meet individualized goals Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that celebrates student abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create effective learning environments Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all regulations
