Youll be working on-site, handling a 35-hour weekly schedule across multiple locations as an itinerant teacher.
What Were Seeking:
Valid California teaching credential with a Visually Impaired (VI) endorsement is required Experience teaching students with visual impairments, preferably in a school-based setting Comfortable traveling between sites to support a diverse caseload Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs for students with visual impairments Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt instructional methods and educational materials to suit individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and adaptive strategies to students ages PreK12 with visual impairments Conduct assessments and create customized educational plans in accordance with each students requirements Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure accessibility and success Offer resources, training, and consultation to teachers, staff, and family members Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
