Santa Rosa Pay Rate :
$30 per hour to start

Wed-Friday, afternoons and evenings, some weekends, 15-20 hrs/week
ABOUT THE CLIENT
A. is a sweet smart kiddo with Autism and other behavioral and medical concerns . We are looking for a Care Giver who will help her live her best life by helping her access community activities and helping her with daily self care. We need help with meal prep and clean up, keeping consistent routines, continual vigilance and creating room for her to learn independence. Patience, humor and a calm presence are important. Pets will also be in the house. Parents will train early in the process.
DUTIES:
In search of an Employee to support A.
with the following:
Providing one to one care in and outside of the home Transportation to activities when needed Meal prep and Med prep Be aware of safety at all times Support and encourage the development of A.'s independence! Accompanying to Social Rec Activities/Camp (occasionally) Providing support at Social Rec Activities/Camp (occasionally)
EMPLOYEE SKILLS/BACKGROUND
Experience working with children with special needs is preferred. Please have your own car, clean driving record, and a valid driver's license. Parent will be available for training and support.
ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS
You will be hired by the parents and paid through an agency (It is not a Respite or IHSS agency). The agency is a 3rd party Financial Management Service that pays for services for individuals with disabilities. Completing the hiring paperwork is similar to being hired at any other caregiver type job (ie. Filling out a W4, background check etc..). You will need to complete a fingerprint Live Scan to be hired. You will be reimbursed for the Live Scan cost once officially hired and have begun working. You are paid bi-weekly and will have the option to be paid via direct deposit or check in the mail. Please email if interested -
