Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching credential Experience teaching students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe disabilities Strong skills in adapting curriculum and classroom materials for diverse learners Comprehensive understanding of IEPs and the ability to develop, implement, and review them effectively Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues Patience, flexibility, and a creative approach to problem-solving

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, plan, and deliver individualized lesson plans tailored to students IEP goals Provide direct instruction in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers Use assessment data to adjust teaching strategies for each students learning style and progress Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress and IEP compliance Engage families as educational partners in the decision-making process and student support This contract opportunity places you in a supportive, professional school environment, where your expertise helps shape futures and promote student success.
