Role:
Swim Corps USA LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Adaptive and Private Swim Instructor to join our team in Temecula, CA! In this rewarding role, you'll make a real splash in the lives of swimmers of all ages and abilities — from beginners to those with special needs — helping them build confidence and life-saving water skills. If you love working with people and have a heart for inclusive aquatic education, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one private swim lessons tailored to each student's skill level and goals Provide adaptive swim instruction for students with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities Develop individualized lesson plans that promote water safety, technique, and swimmer confidence Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction methods as needed Maintain a safe, supportive, and encouraging pool environment at all times Communicate progress and feedback effectively with students, parents, and guardians Ensure compliance with all aquatic safety standards and protocols
Requirements:
Prior experience as a swim instructor, also has experience in adaptive or special needs teaching Current CPR, First Aid, and WSI Certification (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with adaptive aquatics techniques and inclusive teaching strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students of all ages and abilities Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to working with diverse learners Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Must be comfortable in and around water and demonstrate strong swimming proficiency
