Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications The employee must hold a valid CA Preliminary or Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential which includes
CLAD/BCLAD
certification. Bi-Lingual a plus. Experience with Springs Charter Schools or other charter schools preferred. Prior independent study teaching experience is highly desirable.
  • This assignment may include a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) student on the roster. Candidates must either hold appropriate authorization to teach TK or be willing to obtain the required Early Childhood Education (ECE) units to meet the eligibility criteria in accordance with state guidelines within 2 years of hire.
  • All candidates must reside within our service areas, including Riverside, Orange, San Diego, San Bernardino or Los Angeles Counties. A completed EDJOIN online application is required. The resume does not take the place of a completed application. Must upload the required documents
