A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Position:
We are hiring Yoga Instructors and Sculpt / Strength Instructors who are passionate about movement, community, and delivering a best-in-class experience. This is an employee position (not independent contractor) —we invest in your development and believe instructors should be paid for every minute worked . Our ideal instructors are warm, confident, reliable, and engaging , with a strong desire to grow as teachers and leaders. What You'll Do Deliver Exceptional Classes Teach dynamic, safe, and engaging classes aligned with YogaSix standards Create a motivating class experience using music, lighting, props, and clear cueing Confidently teach students of all levels with modifications and progressions Demonstrate professionalism, preparedness, and strong class flow Create Connection & Community Arrive 15 minutes before class to connect with students Stay 15 minutes after class to support students and answer questions Learn names, build relationships, and foster a welcoming environment Support new students and studio initiatives Support community events, popups, outside classes as needed Studio & Team Support Support memberhsip sales Set up and break down equipment and props Maintain a clean, organized practice room Attend required trainings, meetings, and workshops Represent the YogaSix brand with integrity and positivity Qualifications Required 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Certification OR recognized group fitness certification (for Sculpt) CPR/AED Certification Ability to teach in a heated environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional, punctual, and reliable Preferred 1+ year teaching group fitness or yoga Experience teaching heated yoga, sculpt, or strength formats Outgoing personality with strong presence and confidence Desire for coaching, feedback, and continuous growth Schedule Expectations Minimum 2 classes per week Early morning, and weekend availability a plus Compensation & Benefits Transparent, California-Compliant Pay Hourly admin pay for all required time, including - 15 minutes before class, Teaching time, 15 minutes after class, Trainings, meetings, community events, and studio duties Additional teaching-time pay based on experience, reliability, and performance. Most instructors earn between $24 -$30 per hour effective rate (or $36 - $45 per class/ 90min), with top performers earning more.
