Job Summary Job Summary Special Day Class Teachers are responsible to the Director of Special Education and the site administrator. Special Day Class Teachers provide direct instruction to and coordinate the instructional programs for students with exceptional needs enrolled in the special day class programs at each school. • Seperate Salary Schedule for our Special Education teachers which is an additional 10% compared to classroom teachers. All special education teachers have 95 hours of flexible work time outside of their duty day time for unencumbered individual work for caseload management.
