Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Special Education Teacher with M/M credentials to join our educational team. Deliver specialized instruction across core subjects including literacy, mathematics, early childhood education, and life skills development. Utilize educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and track student progress effectively. Manage classroom environments to promote positive behavior, utilizing behavior management strategies suitable for students with disabilities. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other specialists—to support comprehensive student development. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavioral concerns, and instructional strategies. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to evaluate student achievement and inform instructional planning. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for colleagues to foster a collaborative teaching environment. Ensure adherence to special education law, educational compliance standards, and safety protocols in all activities. Qualifications Valid M/M (Multiple or Master's) special education teaching credentials or licenses recognized by relevant educational authorities. Proven experience working with students with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, visual impairments, or other special needs. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and individualized instruction strategies. Familiarity with learning technology applications such as educational software and assistive devices. Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while implementing behavioral health and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Experience integrating speech therapy, music therapy, recreational therapy, or behavioral therapy into classroom activities is desirable. Knowledge of special education law including IEP processes and educational compliance requirements. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners across early childhood through elementary levels.
