Classroom Teaching Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate Floating Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and possess a strong educational background in early childhood development. The candidate will be comfortable executing the weekly lesson plans and tracking developmental progress of each child.

Duties:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
• Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere
• Assess students' progress and communicate with parents or guardians regularly
• Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and early intervention strategies into daily activities
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience
• Ability to commute to the location

Qualifications:

• Lead qualified in Early Childhood Education for the state of Colorado, Holding a Level 2 or higher in PDIS
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of special education practices and principles
• Strong understanding and desire to uphold licensing requirements
• Strong understanding of child development theories and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Ability to commit to being on work on time and during scheduled hours (Attendance matters!

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience in early intervention programs
