CDE SPED
License with Generalist Endorsement is
REQUIRED
; travelers, substitute, temporary, or interim licenses cannot be considered unless proper documentation has been submitted and approved License must specifically read: Professional Teacher License #000000, endorsed in Special Education Generalist (5-21) Demonstrated middle school classroom experience preferred In-depth knowledge of instructional practices, specialized instructional strategies, and supporting students on alternative academic standards Extensive understanding and experience with the complete IEP process, including collaboration with fellow professionals and families Ability to provide and document specially designed instruction, progress monitoring, and support for diverse learners Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to on-site teaching—virtual or hybrid placement is not available
Responsibilities Include:
