Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with special education endorsement Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably working in schools Thorough knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and assessment Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff Flexibility and adaptability to meet a variety of student needs and learning styles Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students in special education programs Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring goals are measurable and progress is tracked Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support personnel to implement IEPs and adapt lessons Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom climate Maintain accurate records according to school and compliance standards Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, goals, and strategies Experience a fulfilling career supporting students, collaborating with dedicated educators, and contributing to a nurturing school community.
