Job Description

Part-time Special Education Teacher contract for 36 weeks in Brighton, Colorado. Provide direct instruction to students with mild to moderate special education needs and collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans. Earn up to $58 per hour with premium pay and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a small caseload of students with mild to moderate special education needs. Collaborate with school staff, families, and resource teachers to develop and implement IEPs. Provide direct instruction and support in the classroom, ensuring all students' needs are met. Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation. Participate in team meetings and school activities to support student success.
Qualifications:
Valid CO Mild/Moderate SPED license. Relevant Special Education certification/license for Colorado. Minimum 1 year of experience in special education, ability to manage small caseloads. Ability to work weekdays (Tuesday through Friday mornings). Strong communication skills. Patience. Background check clearance. Comfortable working in a school environment.
