This position, located near Brighton, CO, covers a maternity leave from late January through March for approximately 12 weeks. As a Special Education Teacher, youll work with a caseload of 11-12 students, providing vital instruction and individualized support. The role follows a Tuesday through Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, offering you a balance of focused work and long weekends. Your specialized knowledge and experience with autism spectrum disorders will allow you to make a significant impact during this important leave coverage.

Desired Qualifications:

Licensure as a Special Education Teacher (active and in good standing) Experience supporting students on the autism spectrum, preferably in a center-based or similar setting Understanding of best instructional strategies, behavior interventions, and IEP processes Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with classroom staff, therapists, and families Adaptability and positivity, especially during dynamic periods like maternity leaves
