Located in a vibrant community near Grand Junction, CO, this full-time contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs. Multiple positions are available, including two roles working with Significant Support Needs (SSN) and one Resource position. You'll work Monday through Friday with a supportive team dedicated to fostering growth and achievement in every learner.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current and active Colorado teaching certification in Special Education Previous experience in Special Education preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt instruction and provide individualized support Commitment to cultivating an inclusive, positive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs Deliver engaging instructional activities that promote academic, social, and emotional success Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning space Collaborate closely with other educators, therapists, and families Monitor student progress, gather data, and make necessary instructional adjustments Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings As an essential part of the educational community, you will empower students, celebrate their progress, and contribute to a collaborative atmosphere where everyone can excel.
