Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Special Education Teacher (Generalist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a current CDE Special Education Generalist license and will be responsible for providing specialized instruction, implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and supporting students with diverse learning needs across various settings. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized academic instruction to students with disabilities across mild, moderate, or mixed needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations. Adapt curriculum and modify instructional materials to meet student needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school administrators. Implement behavior support strategies and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Conduct assessments, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities. Ensure compliance with IDEA, district policies, and all credentialing requirements. Qualifications Current CDE Special Education Generalist License (Required). Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's preferred. Experience working with students with diverse needs is highly preferred. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
