Job Description

Job Summary We are a licensed, large in-home daycare seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Teacher to provide high-quality, individualized care. This role offers a unique opportunity to foster developmental growth, promote inclusive learning, and collaborate closely with families in a classroom setting smaller than a childcare center. The ideal candidate has experience working in early childhood education (babies and toddlers). Responsibilities Develop and implement early childhood lesson plans. Deliver age-appropriate instruction across multiple domains including literacy, math, nature, social skills, communication, and motor development. Adapt instructional materials to be appropriate for 2 and 3 year olds. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on children's daily activities. Diapering / toileting Planning and preparing meals aligned with the Colorado Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Classroom cleanup and daily maintenance of classroom spaces (indoor and outdoor) Assisting children with standard hygiene procedures Supervision of children in care Requirements Experience working with children aged 0-4. Knowledge of and experience in the PDIS education system Background check / fingerprinting CPR certified or willing to become Must be reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to collaborate with additional Classroom Teacher and Program Director Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, special education law (including IEP processes), and instructional modifications for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to implement behavioral management techniques
Pay:
$57,500.00 per year
