Responsibilities include:

Conduct bilingual child find evaluations for early childhood students at multiple school locations Participate in a multidisciplinary team to assess and determine eligibility for special education services Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations clearly to families and staff Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements Collaborate with case managers, school psychologists, and educational teams to support individualized learning needs Travel between schools and district sites as needed for evaluations Preferred experience and qualifications: Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement (required) Bilingual proficiency necessary for conducting evaluations in English and another language Prior experience in early childhood assessment, special education, or related roles Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds Flexible problem solver with a passion for early intervention Commitment to meeting all district-specific credentialing and onboarding processes The contract begins as soon as possible and continues through May 2027, offering a consistent 37.5 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to provide crucial support for children at North Star Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and potentially other district locations as needed.
