Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state-specific credentials required) Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students, specifically grades 3-5 Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with staff and families Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learner needs Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of approximately 10 students, delivering targeted, evidence-based instruction and support Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), aligning goals with student strengths and needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed Maintain organized, timely records and documentation in compliance with school and district procedures Foster a welcoming, supportive classroom atmosphere to encourage student growth and engagement Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time schedule while making a meaningful difference in students educational journeys.
