Elementary Self-Contained Middle School /High School Resource Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction based on students' IEP goals Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs Collaborate with general education teachers in co-teaching environments Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student progress Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Utilize evidence-based strategies for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Communicate effectively with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teamsQualifications:
Valid CT state certification in Special Education Experience in self-contained or resource/co-teaching settings preferred Strong classroom management and differentiation skills Ability to collaborate and build positive relationships Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs Why Join Us?
