This full-time, onsite contract role focuses on guiding a small class of Pre-K and Kindergarten students, each receiving individualized attention with the support of dedicated one-on-one aides. The current assignment continues through February 26, with the possibility for extension. This position offers the chance to make a real difference in a close-knit classroom setting, with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the building to provide additional expertise.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with Pre-K and Kindergarten-aged children Strong background in modifying curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and support staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing environment for all learners

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans for a classroom of approximately seven students Adapt lessons and instructional materials to suit varying abilities Partner with one-on-one aides to ensure each child receives targeted support Work collaboratively with the onsite BCBA to integrate behavioral strategies Maintain accurate records and documentation Foster positive relationships with students and their families This position offers an hourly rate between $40 and $50, commensurate with experience.
