Two distinct positions are available:

Resource/Co-Teaching:

Collaborate closely with general education staff to provide targeted resource support and inclusive co-teaching to high school students, ensuring access to curricula and promoting student growth. Self-Contained (Neurodiverse): Lead a dedicated classroom for neurodiverse students in a self-contained setting, developing and implementing individualized strategies that foster academic and personal development.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Previous experience with high school-aged students highly desired Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Commitment to supporting students with various exceptionalities, including neurodiverse learners Excellent teamwork, communication, and organization skills Familiarity with resource and co-teaching models or self-contained instructional practices

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver individualized and group instruction to students with special needs Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Effectively manage IEP processes, including writing goals, documenting progress, and maintaining compliance Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment focused on student strengths and growth Adapt and differentiate instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs Participate in professional development and ongoing school initiatives Bring your passion for education to a school dedicated to empowering each student.
